Game start: Stranded
I binded Fire Primary Weapons to LMB and I use Mouse Steering to control my ship. During combat, my cursor sometimes hovers over UI elements such as "Messeges" box or Target info box and if I happen to fire during it, a menu pops up.
Is there a way to stop LMB from interacting with these UI elements?

Re: LMB interacts with UI elements during combat and opens menues
There have long been issues with rebinding certain keys such as LMB, RMB, etc in X games as they are used in many different contexts such as for menu and selection actions and can also be affected by left/right handedness setting issues. Other keys cannot even be rebound although various X4 updates have improved key combination binding options using Shift and CTRL etc.
At least binding clashes or issues are usually notified when you try to rebind keys in-game. Many people use MMB or a gaming mouse side button for fire weapon.
