Hi,
i just installed X4 from steam for the first time, whenever i try to launch the game it shows landing page, then some egosoft splashscreen, then landing page again - after this the game crashes with below error (X4 has engountered a problem - checking for solution to the problem) (screenshot). The error dissapears after a second with no action.
I tried updating the graphics drivers, reinstalling the game, running it as admin, or ensuring all files in game directory are not readonly.
I am attaching DXDIAG, .dmp file created in game directory and screenshot (i am not allowed to add attachments in this forum)
more information below:
Version and language (e.g. 8.00 Hotfix 3, English, etc.). - 9.00, Polish
Whether or not your game is modified using any third party scripts or mods (see note below). - no mods, just clean first time install
The game start you originally selected for the game in which the problem occurred. - not sure what this means, i was not able to enter the game at all
Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time. - explained at the top of the post
Any possibly relevant changes you have made to your game, system, or software before the issue occurred. - new install, after first crash i tried updating the drivers - did not help
Where appropriate, additional symptoms, error messages, links to saves *, screenshots and crash dump files (see this Wiki entry). - attached
Your system specifications in the form of a DxDiag report and vulkaninfo (see this Wiki entry).** - dxdiag yes, not sure how to create vulkaninfo as this wiki entry is not working

I just clicked on the Wiki entry link for DXDiag and vulkaninfo and it's working fine. Just paste the contents of the files into one or more posts, as explained in the forum rules at the top of the page.

Rather than copy and paste the command text in the Wiki, try entering this text to the command prompt, ie without the inverted commas or space after >
vulkaninfo >%UserProfile%\Desktop\vulkaninfo.txt
