Adding a beard to my male argon character

As the title say I want to add a beard to my character. This is an accessory present in-game so why shouldn't be on my character's face also ?

I've read a bit from here and there you have to edit some .xml file and search for some character macro. But I haven't understood much.

Can someone help with a step by step guide?

Please help, as without a beard my character looks like a youngster lost in space who plays dangerous games with xenon
