The context would be as follows:
The game starts with a custom budget.
1. I have completed the Boron quests, including the Queen's Messenger quest, and obtained the Royal Hydra. (This includes the Boron-Argon alliance.)
2. I have unlocked diplomacy and therefore completed the Hativah quests.
3. I initiated a diplomatic incident between the Terran Protectorate and the Boron, resulting in a war between them.
4. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to generate any diplomatic incident between the Terrans and the Republic of Antigone or the Argon Federation.
5. I have not completed any Terran quests.
The result:
The diplomatic incident that caused the war between the Boron and the Terrans has also led to the Terrans going to war with the Argons and the Republic of Antigone.
I honestly don't know if it's a bug or not, but given that you can't create diplomatic incidents between the Terrans and the Argons (and Antigone), I think it is.
Steps to replicate this:
1. Complete all Boron missions, including those from the Queen's Messenger (Create the Boron-Argon alliance)
2. Unlock diplomacy (Hativah quest)
3. Generate a diplomatic incident between the Boron and Terran that worsens relations
4. When war breaks out between the Terran and Boron, the Argon and Antigone will also join the war on the side of the Boron against the Terran.

- DLC: Split, Terran, Boron
Comment:
I haven't started any Terran quests yet (I did the Pioneer quest, but not Terran), so I don't know how the quest results will affect faction relations.
