While flying near my PHQ, which has a wide sensor array on it, I spotted a Teladi Tern on my radar. It seemed wildly far away from anything I knew about, so I figured I'd go look at it.
Lo and behold, there's a whole group of Teladi M traders out here locked in combat with a single Kha'ak ship. You can see them start to kill it now that I've arrived, but all these ships had full shields when I got here. Since low attention combat heavily favours speed and disfavours turrets, it seems likely this would have gone on indefinitely if I hadn't approached.
Obviously this is not ideal. Partly because the low-attention conflict cannot resolve situations that are resolved when the player is present, but also because combat that can't resolve has no clear way to end. AFAIK they won't ever get tired and call it off, and passing ships intervening seems unlikely up here.

This keeps happening with Asgard from terran intervention - so much that i've added find asgard to one of savegame python scripts. I'll post save here when i catch it next time.
