[Bug] 2026-02-19 19:30 (UTC+08:00) Forced cutscene playback, unable to open map or save game.

Dear X4: Foundations Development Team:

While playing X4: Foundations, I have encountered a critical bug.After pressing [M], the Map screen fails to display.
Instead, only the cutscene from the Timeline section in the Encyclopedia is shown.Since the game considers itself to be playing a cutscene, saving the game is also disabled.

[Conditions]
There must be at least one entry in the Timeline section of the Encyclopedia in the save file.

[Steps to Reproduce]
1.Press M to open the Map.
2.Select the Encyclopedia button at the top of the screen.
3.Click Timeline on the left side.
4.Select any entry.
5.Switch the time unit: Human Era → AD → New Era.
6.The issue occurs.

[Symptoms]
1.When reselecting the Map button at the top, the map does not appear—only the cutscene plays.
2.Pressing ESC does not allow saving; the game displays "Cannot save while a cutscene is playing."

尊敬的X4: Foundations开发者团队：

在游玩X4: Foundations时，发现了一个比较恶劣的bug。
他会在造成按[M]后，无法显示[地图]画面。只能显示[百科全书]中[时间线]的过场动画。
且由于此时游戏判定为显示过场动画中，无法进行游戏保存。

[前提条件]
游玩存档中，[百科全书]的[时间线]中必须存在一个条目。

[操作顺序]
1.按M进入到[地图]中
2.选择位于屏幕上方的[百科全书]按钮
3.点击左侧的[时间线]
4.选择任意条目
5.切换时间单位，[人类纪元] -> [公元] -> [新纪元]
6.问题发生

[问题现象]
1.此时重新选择位于屏幕上方的[地图]按钮，无法显示地图内容，只会显示过长动画
2.按ESC无法保存游戏，显示"无法在过长动画中保存游戏"

[游戏版本]
8.00 (590967)

[测试环境]
平台:steam
OS:Windows 10 Pro 22H2

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Hello. Have you verified your game installation since the last update or hotfix and are you using any 3rd party mods?

The saves are usually located in a documents folder with a path something like this: Drive:\Users\Your name\Documents\Egosoft\X4\Steam ID Number\save

I have already verified the integrity of the game.
I am not using any third-party mods.
By the way, the issue occurs 100% of the time if you follow the sequence of steps I provided.
