Trump administration launches US military operation in Ecuador, they saying its to defeat the drug cartels, but really, its all about money. And considering Trump pardoned a drug lord recently.

I guess Cuba will be hit soon, from some sources, that might be another target, But I think we can say this is becoming WW3.

So if U.S. soldiers are dying in the name of Israel, I'd say only Christian nationalists would be fine with that. They probably hope that this war will become bigger and bigger so that Christ will return, Armageddon or something. I can imagine that every time this war expands those people become happier: "-The prophecy is upon us!"

Now it seems that a pentagon aide has let slip, that if America wins the war with Iran, Trump influence over the military will greatly expand, including the national guard. Which in turn, means total control. This is his plan and it doesn't surprise me in the least.

There were sealed orders sent to commanders, telling their troops, that this is "god's divine will"

So yeah, pretty much.

I mean define winning?

I am always reminded these days about a documentary called This is what winning looks like. It is probably one of the most bleak things you will ever see.

If America 'looses' a war, the American mainland will remain largely untouched, while the other country is in ruin. That was the case in Afgahnistan and in Vietnam.

There are now rumors that the 82nd airborne devision is about to get moved out to the middle east. While I personally think it is more than doubtful that there will be boots on the ground in Iran, I must admit that would probably one of the units America would employ for such an operation given Iran's challenging terrain.

Aparently USS George H.W. Bush is prepared to be deployed to Middle East as well.

Adding 3rd Carrier group seems like a sign this won't end anytime soon.

Unsurprising; if they're going to be escorting ships through the straights, then the current carrier group is not going to be able to attack Iran *and* escort. Similarly, the threat from the shoreline may be in launchers that are quick to deploy, so they'll need a lot of extra assets to spot/destroy as soon as the Iranians move out into the open to fire... (assuming they still have the capabilities and it's not all been destroyed). So the single existing carrier group would be significantly overstretched.

Additionally, if they are intercepting missiles/drones then they'll need sufficient ships to be able to be replenished at sea without compromising the cover provided as well (which is actually how they get their supplies underway, not needing to dock back in a port as someone postulated earlier).

I wonder if someone already created a counter about the costs of this "3 day special operation"... :gruebel:

....oh, how nice - seems like someone really did that: https://iran-cost-ticker.com/

Remember that Iran elementary school that got hit? well, Iran released some images of mass tiny graves been dug and shows some of the bodies in shrouds.

Well it gets worse, Initial reports said, it was Israel who struck the school. HOWEVER, US led investigation has confirmed, it was an American strike that hit the school, So despite a certain person saying that We are looking into the matter and denying that the thing even took place. This is a serious breech of internal law. So, blood in on Trump's hands and Pete Hegseth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqhXjnFR5No

But the investigation is still on going, as the full details have yet to be released.

Or the actual news article / source.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-ea ... 026-03-06/

Imagine asking the people to "rise up" against their oppressive murdering regime... while also murdering their kids.

However,

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c39w2nj1rk8o
One of the UK's two aircraft carriers has been placed on advanced readiness to sail from Portsmouth, the BBC understands.

The crew of HMS Prince of Wales have been told they must be ready to leave in five days, defence sources said.

This may raise speculation the carrier could be deployed to the Mediterranean to help defend British interests threatened during the conflict in the Middle East.
Uh oh. Given we have an airfield in Cyprus that's fully capable of launching Typhoons and the Voyager tankers for refuelling, I'd be slightly suspicious this is to replace US carrier in the Med (to defend Israel, I mean, Eastern Europe). So the repeatedly voiced fears of UK being dragged in by various people may be becoming one step closer *if* that's what is going to happen.

or

Dragon is kaput :D (giggles only, carriers require support vessels which would typically include a T45 amongst the ships - e.g. (1-2 frigates, 1 anti air T45, 1 sub, 1 support ship - but maybe as Greece and France are apparently sending ships, it's an opportunity to create a strike group for training etc).

as far as violence against children goes, it was hard to imagine Trump doing more than kidnapping 5000+ children during his first term.

turns out he can also murder children by 100s

for now and forever these examples I will always remember that as defining traits of MAGA and their Republican and Conservative supporters

So Trump was asked on air force one about the bombing of this elementary school. The reporter saying it might have been America. Trump basically said, the school was bombed by Iran????? I don't think he even knew where the school was located. Hegseth however (by Trump's side) didn't want to confirm that.

I mean, why would Iran bomb its own school? This is Dementia Trump or his alternative reality Trump, making up facts as he goes along.

Trump is also say that the war is already won, and that Iran has surrendered. Not true.

What a bloody mess we are in.

Has anyone else seen the picturesof the black oil rain falling over Tehran after the strikes against the oil sites? I truely does have an apocalyptic visual quality to it. Here is to hoping that people find a way of dealing with the toxic fallout that is now falling on a city of 8 million.

EDIT: Dealing with the fallout will probably not help the drinking water situation which in Iran was allready bad, but is now becoming much worse as civilian water infrastructure gets increasingly targeted, for example via attacks against desalination plants. It is likely that a lack of clean drinking water will be one of the biggest issues faced by Iranian civilians in the coming weeks and months.

Seems Netenyahoo is wanting to use nukes against Iran and is trying to get an idea if the US will back it. I'm sure the "christian" whackydoos are gonna jump at that chance in the hopes it brings about their prophesized 2nd coming.

Still, if the US does support it, its only going to give daddy vladdy a free hand to nuke Ukraine, which will likely trigger nukes from various European nations to Russia with retaliations. Not wanting to feel left out, Kimmy will nuke South Korea and Winnie the Pooh will nuke Taiwan and on and on it goes until theres no one left alive, except most people in south america laughing at us dumbasses.

Confirmed, that elementary school (165 killed) was hit by Tomahawk missiles. Which America has, Iran does not. So yes, America killed those kids. Trump can no longer wiggle out of this one.
