I was leaving this ship to repair it. I also hit shift-v to disable audio (I don't need to sit around listening to the repair laser) but not sure if that was related. The suit appears to have launched but I never got controls, can't move, can't even dock again despite being half into the hatch already. I managed to request docking via the menu, and I can see the guidance in external view, but nothing happens.
Anyway despite not really knowing the cause, the issue itself does persist in the save.

Re: 8.0 HF4 Space Suit Frozen and Unresponsive
Update:
I have found a way out of this. By setting guidance to a random point in space and enabling autopilot, I was able to get the suit to move. After it cleared the docking hatch, the controls appeared and I can use it again. So it seems that if something (not sure what) causes the suit not to clear the hatch fully during the automated part of undocking, the controls just don't show up?

Sounds like the suit has an automated critical docking/undocking phase like ships and that if it gets stuck while in that state then you would have no control.

To reproduce it easily, undock from a M ship, like the Cobra and immediately hit the key to stop all movement.
You don't have any control interface and if you tp back into your ship and take control of it, still no way of doing anything.
Please fix it, it is tedious when you want to do a quick space walk to repair your ship

Perhaps a relatively easy workaround fix would be to have the usual Shift-D to insta-dock the suit override the critical undocking phase as then you could just start the ejection again and hopefully have it work that time.
