X4 Stations Construction Plan (Terran + Argon)

Hello everyone !

Station building in X4 is a really great part of the game !


However, it can be tedious, and after multiple playthroughs, I’ve taken the time to prepare some ready-to-use stations.


My main goal was to create some pleasing stations for myself, and I had a lot of fun trying to make some of them very intricate !

Everything is vanilla ! You will need the Terran DLC (Cradle of Humanity) for the terrans stations obviously... I guess.


Most of them are designed to fit within the basic 2x2x2 km plot, so you don’t have to pay too much for the said plot.

Spoiler alert: you could technically exploit a “feature” by buying a small plot and using a saved construction plan for a big station. This way, you can pay for a 1x1x1 km plot and end up with a station as big as 10x10x10 km ! Great for profitssss !


Anyway, I’ve made a station for each product from both the Commonwealth and Terran economies. There are 59 stations ready to go and I've got more !


Each station is self-sufficient, meaning that, for example, if you want a Weapon Components station, all the required modules will be included, from raw materials to finished goods.


Concerning the Terrans (which I usually play the most), all stations come in two flavors:

One is the basic station
The other is the same station with habitat modules (and usually all the necessities to be self-sufficient, like Terran MRE, etc.)


Since I mostly play Terran, I’ve built additional useful stations such as:

Trading Stations (small, medium, and large), Solar Power Plants (small, medium, and large), Mining Hubs (small, medium, and large), Wharf, Equipment Dock, and Shipyard.



The naming convention should be self-explanatory for each station !
