Bragging about something nobody else will care about

Fixed my ancient HP Laserjet 1018. Started taking two pages instead of one and jam. After a bit of googling and a YouTube video discovered that it was a solenoid that was sticking (the pad between two parts degrade and it leaves a sticky residue - hence the sticking.) Two screws, one panel , a piece of electrical tape, a wipe with a solvent and ten minutes of my time and it's working like it should - one page at time.
(Previously converted to wireless operation via a Pi Zero W running CUPS)

I rarely use a printer so a Laser is ideal as the ink doesn't dry like a inkjet does.

I wonder how many of these printers have been dumped because of this simple to rectify problem.

(edit only one on Ebay in the UK - wants £179 for it!! -you can get a modern one from HP for just over £100)

I'm going full speed ahead on my computation without using Microsoft or HP or anything idea and I have managed to mess with Excel which is kind of fun. Latest version of windows Windows 11 has made sure that the concatenate function doesn't function so that you can turn Excel into a code processor which is hilarious but it hasn't caught onto the fact that it's already nerfed concat function can do the same thing and I was just experimenting with L and the letter o. That work to treat I can still create ripple counters and binary sorts of things that but that's only one of the things that I was doing the next thing that I bragging about is the fact that I finally figured out how to do column carry adding without the carry which is I don't think ever done before and not only that I forgot away to do it in hardware I'm going to put that into the computing thread so that people don't get bored but and also because I need to remember how to do it so that's going to be interesting
