Has anyone tried X4 on laptop CPU Ryzen AI9 365 (I am talking about razer brand if it makes much difference)? I have been playing on laptop with I7-10750H for many years now and lately fps is going pretty low, so wanted to ask your experience.
Benchmarks say that it is much more powerful, but we all know how CPU heavy X4 is.

Several technical specs say that this model laptop is designed for power efficiency rather than performance. Also the Radeon 880M integrated graphics uses shared system memory rather than dedicated VRAM and so I suspect this laptop may not be the step up with X4 that you had hoped.

For those who are curious
I did test on my old super heavy multibillion universe
Old laptop with gtx 3060 and I7 10750H on lowest settings in empty space I would have around 50 fps and in most populated system around 30 fps
New laptop with gtx 5070 (without frame generation) and ai 9 365 on ultra settings (probably only affect GPU) in empty space get up to 120 fps and next to a huge station around 50 fps
I would say it is a pretty good result. Also I got cooling pad, so while old laptop without it would reach 90C during game, this one gets around 55C which would probably also affect situation.

I tried installing X4 on this laptop.
The result was a space-themed slide show, with approximately 1-2 slides per second.

Unfortunately as the Razer laptop model number using this cpu was not given in the OP, we didn't know whether it was the basic one just with integrated 880M graphics or one with a discrete graphics card such as the gtx 5070 now mentioned. It makes a big difference.

Maybe your laptop did not switch to discrete video card for some reason
My old laptop is razer blade 15 (2021) base edition, and new is blade 14 (2025) with 5070. In the old laptop. video card utilization was always pretty low, so I assume that 3060 is more than enough to handle the game and the only problem was CPU
