[DUP][#3887] uncontrolled acceleration after going through a gate on autopilot - Fixed in a future update

Playing an unmodified version of the current beta . Occasionally when I travel through a gate or accelerator while using auto pilot my ship will accelerate to super high speed and zoom far beyond the system border 15,000km+ The only way to get it to stop is to leave the pilot seat. Cutting engines reversing thrust etc do not significantly slow the ship. This does not happen every time but it has only ever happened in the public Beta

Please see the very first thread at the top of the forum you just posted in, and provide the information requested there. If you can manage to provide a link to a savegame made shortly before it happens, that would be even better, as it would give us a chance to see it happening. Without that we have very little chance of being able to trace the cause and fix it.

Sounds like like this issue which has a fix on the way for a future release if it is. By the way, there is no current public beta as 8.00 HF3 has been released.

BETA VERSION 8 hf3 VANILLA custom budgeted start
Intermittently when going through accelerators or gates while in autopilot ship accelerates to high speed and travels 10+k m past sector edge. it does not respond to controls
