What has been in previous versions and cut by the newest patches?
I've heard of capturable I and Ks - by a spacesuit with EMP bombs. But, after patching to 7.0, they seemed to get stuck in a place forever. Is it true for 8.0?
Are there more cut features or exploits?

That was an old, old bug IIRC which got patched out ages ago. Then once some Xenon ships became capturable they made the game remove their "pilots" when you own them because at first it didn't and they'd still fly themselves. So if you had an old K or I captured via the bugs it lost its pilot and stopped responding.
I'm not aware of anything else quite like that. I guess you could count that new L ships no longer have bottomless pits in them to store like 40 S fighters.

I'd love to cap a K and I to add to my collection. Still working on the boarding party for a H though (no Timelines).
It would please me greatly if they introduced a legitimate way to do it in the future, perhaps involving that implant item left over from the Yaki plot somehow...

Maybe someday there will be E variants. I think that is ultimately why they're not capturable: they have no interior or even any way to dock AFAIK.

I wouldn't mind if you can't teleport to them or dock them on a pier. I'm building a ship museum at the moment I just want them for the collection. Pacified AGI command under my personal supervision with the implant would be fine... they can float above the other exhibits for the rest of time!

Some stuff I recall:
- Ventures (with how little time it was playable, it is legacy content until it is back in the main game)
- SCA Diplomat: Could get him in the 8.00 beta, but was an error, so no SCA diplomat in release. He's still around in my game as it was used during the beta test.
- Venture related: Xenon controlled S/M Argon ships . Was a mission during the Venture beta test 2 years ago to defend your station from venture related invaders & sometimes these weird Xenon ships show up, argon ships fully equipped with Xenon equipment. Managed to capture one (a Xenon Nova Vanguard) & it is safely locked in my HQ as trophy ship.
- Buildable Neutral stations: Shortly after Avarice release, Tidebreak sometimes offered a station build mission for their faction, the Neutrals/Civilians (Tidebreak is Neutral, not RIP/VIG!), hence ended up with a second Neutral station in Avarice. It is fixed now.

But some players who started the game at 2.60 or earlier have these pieces of technology in their fleets.
If one runs these savegames at 8.00, will K and I's be dysfunctional?
