Cannot deliver Hyperion mission items

After getting the gifted Hyperion I'm attempting the item deliveries.
I have a ship with two of the 9 required AGI Heuristic Cores docked on Olmancketslat's ship. When I go to that character's office and click "DELIVER" conversation the dialog shows I have "0" to deliver for all items. The missions is active and I have a current marker to the character. To me if the delivery system is different from other similar game loops it's not obvious.

Items need to be in your inventory, rather than that of your docked ship. To move the items go aboard the ship & talk to the pilot. Select 'give me your inventory' (or something like that) to transfer everything the pilot currently has. Then return to Olmancketslat to give them to him.
