[#4472][Beta 8.0 and 7.60] Sapporo OOS not using its missiles - fixed in future build
I found it in version 7.60, but the Sapporo ship bug has not been fixed in version 8.0. He does not consume missiles in the non-player mode in the sector. Although in the presence, everything works fine.

The Sapporo is in Hatikvah's Faith, on repeat orders ..
Attack Targets in range
Collect drops
.. It does those two 4 times in different locations, and then repeats the sequence.
The Sapporo has 448 Light Barrage Missiles onboard.
You are onboard a Kuraokami out of sector.
I would right click my fleet "Kha'ak Patrol" (5 x Threshers), and disable their current orders. They are in the same sector as the Sapporo and occasionally steal the Sapporo's targets, as they are also doing a similar set of repeat orders which overlap the areas the Sapporo goes to.
Now you can enable SETA in the Kuraokami and watch the Sapporo remotely on the map attacking Kha'ak (they appear quite often in this sector having a pop at miners), and witness that the Light Barrage Missiles never get used .. Until you teleport to the Sapporo and become high attention.

I'll move this to Tech Sp (from gameplay) where it has a better chance of getting one. I could not find any other 7.60 report about this from the OP.

I think I may be able to reproduce this in one of my beta saves. I'm sure not very long ago I have seen my Sapporo sector patrol hunt a single Khaak for ages (they were hundreds of kilometers above ecliptic that's why I looked at it) and as soon as I teleported to it shot its missiles and the Khaak was gone. While all the time before it eighter didn't use the missiles at all or the missiles couldn't hit the khaak in OOS calculation.
I'll try to find a save where it was still hunting the khaak this weekend.

In my game the missiles are not being used at all in Low Attention OOS combat. I keep watch on the amount of missiles it has all the time and they never go down.
They do start being used as soon as you go High Attention in sector.
Currently while it is on patrol in a sector regularly coming across Kha'ak, the Sapporo's turrets are mostly not fast enough to hit the agyle small Kha'ak, the Sapporo is tough so its never in danger, but it takes an age for it to just kill one Kha'ak with its turrets.
Missiles may aswell not be installed at all, making it a bit useless apart from its extended radar coverage, but even then its slow so not really useful as an explorer.

Yes, you are right, I already found a save with the issue visible and no missile usage without much searching.
It's still present in Beta 8.0 RC1. Do you want to open a new ticked in Beta Forum for this so we can link this thread and our saves over there? I guess they see it faster over there.

No because this topic has already been cross linked and moved from the general forum where it wasn't getting any dev attention, and the Betas at the RC stage will be getting closed very soon when it goes public, so any new topics will not be seen/dealt with there until whenever the next round of Betas happen.
