7.60 BUG: Apotheosis switches don't react to any tool

  • 7.60 (562021), English
  • Game is modified, but not in any way that directly affects spacesuit tools
  • Custom Game start, Headquarters with Boso Ta but no Dal
The initial two corridor switches within the Apotheosis were found green, and do not react to my repair laser or spacesuit laser. They are the only accessible features of the area, all other corridors are blocked off and shooting the switches with any tool does nothing to change this.

Additionally a nearby paranid station blew up in close enough proximity to the Apotheosis to trigger a "danger" warning- This was pure NPC-caused and I'm not sure it has had anything to do with my problem. Figured I would throw it in as extra info though.
Attached are DXdiag, Vulkaninfo. Likely unnecessary. But more importantly a short clip showing my fruitless efforts to make the switch react to my tools..

Just in case, there are two vanilla spacesuit damage weapons; the laser and the blaster. I don't know if both are supposed to work on the switches in that mission. Of course with 3rd party mods at play such that no vanilla save with the issue can be provided, we might never know what is happening.

Perhaps the worst unintended consequence I ever had with that task was an NPC capital passing close by the Apotheosis and dragging my space suit out and away in its attraction field while I was getting near to completing the mission. :D
