Just a request which I consider to be a bug/oversight, I often wondered why we can't give Management Seminars to our Ship Traders.

Re: Request - Ability to give Ship Traders Management Seminars
Honestly I dont know. I thought that maybe they do benefit as Traders if their management skill is higher.

Pretty sure the management skill has zero actual impact on trade selections, etc.. Afaik, it's only application is the max range for station subordinate traders. And maybe the number of 5* managers is tracked for achievements, but that's about it.

Yeah I think you are all correct, somehow it just made a little sense when I posted this ( in my head anyway
), but really the Trader is not a Manager.
Maybe they benefit from Moral being higher, but even then I think they are still just a bod to put in the post of Trader, and dont actually make the stations sales of ships any better. Its just someone to interact with for immersion, instead of just relying on right click the station on the map.
Hmm, I still think there ought to be more to this chap than just a token bod, every other employee has to build up in some way.
