Keep floating and nobody knows

I've been trying to get the achievement "keep floating and nobody knows" but no matter how hard I've tried I can't get it.

The first sound sensor always gets tripped. I can't get throught there without using thrusters because the fan pushes me back faster than I can accelerate.

I can do the rest of the mission without issue but what's the point when you can't get the achievement right at the start?

Is it even possible to get it any more?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that bit is legitimately impossible to do post-flight model change. Don't know if it works with chievements but you can try rolling back to the last pre-flight model switch version and replay the mission to test it out.

I have done it!

I loaded the 7.0 bata and used that.

Doesn't make it any less harder, it just made it so that you can keep moving for further after boosting. Took a few fair attempts.

Thankfully I'll never have to do that one again.
