crash that cuts out my pc - seems resolved after graphics driver update.

Hi getting a strange crash every few hours it started with the hyperion dlc, ie the last few weeks and its bugging me as i love this game. i have played SC, FSX, il2, arma3 raceroom etc with no issues so hope egosoft can find a solution. i have no mods fitted. hope you can help. my specs are WIN 10 PRO 64 bit
INTEL i7-6700 CPU 3.40GHZ
32GB CRUCIAL DDR4-2400 1.2V
ASUS GTX 970 4 GB OC EDITION
CRUCIAL 1 TB SSD
ASUS TUF Z270 MOBO

We can't really help with so little information. Please see the very first thread at the top of the forum, entitled "Technical Support Requests - Please read this before posting!" and provide the information requested there, including your DXDiag and vulkaninfo.

One thing to note is that a game cannot, on its own, "cut out" a PC. If your entire PC is freezing up or shutting down then that indicates an underlying problem at the driver or hardware level, and all that the game is doing is exposing that problem.

Thanks for the reply, it seems my nvidia card driver needed updating manually, even tho i had it on an automatic driver install. just played and no crashes so far. hopefully thats it sorted.
