Is there any way to bypass the Timeline tasks and get to the game proper?

You could just start the 'game proper' and ignore timelines completely. Select 'Play Open Universe' from the main start menu.

question guys, does the game rewards you in anyway (besides the achievement if any) if you complete all with 5 Stars?

Only thing I know is that completing Timelines leads to the in-game finale story, and the XPerimental Shuttle.
I haven't heard of anything unlocking due to getting 5 stars in everything.
Maybe there is some kind of achievement, if you are running the game via Steam or GOG Galaxy .. No clue, I dont use either.
