Sapporo not using missiles

Hi,

Is it possible that the ship Sapporo does not use missiles when you are out of sector ? Do ships generally not use missiles ? I imagine they do. My Nemesis with one missile launcher always needs a refill after some time. So they are using missiles out of sight. The Sapporo just using the m turrets out of sector/sight. Can someone confirm that the Sapporo is not using missiles out of sector ?

There's a bug report in, but no Mantis number has been given to the issue yet ..
