Attacking the Argon

What would it take to attack one of the factions (like The Argon's) in AP?

I suspect that you mean what sort of fleet power would you need to wage a war with a strong faction successfully and right across the game galaxy. The answer to that one might differ according to which X game you mean to do this in. (Not sure if your 'AP' was X3:AP or Argon Prime.)

Yes AP
Playing as a Terran.
My rating with the Argon just dropped to nothing now they keep attacking me.
My next step would attack back and start stealing there ships.
Long term, wipe them out.
Doable or not?

Wiping out a race completely is not possible, as certain stations and ships will respawn. But you can certainly destroy them once, and hold their sectors.
