Devs, roadmap - fleet formations

The roadmap doesnt mention anything regarding fleet formations.

A lot of people have mentioned this feature could use some love and get improvements to improve performance to match player expectations.

Devs, is it possible to get any comment on the ambitions regarding any improvements to fleet formations and ‘in sync’ movements of fleets elements?
