Hyperion mission chain is not starting

Good time of the day!

Would be anyone able to explain what is the trigger for Hyperion mission chain?

I've spent like 8h (real time), of which 5h was pure highway circling and 3h manual flying around sightseeing. Of those 3h manual piloting - I've made a lot of circles flying around highway systems, but w/o using highway (I've read that might be important??)

At this point - I start to think that my game bugged out somehow?
Any suggestion will be helpful and much appreciated

I'm using unmodified save, so it is definitely not a conflict of mods.

It should trigger randomly when you're traversing from one sector to another regardless of location or method of jumping (Jumpgate vs accelerator etc.). Don't think it's any more complex than that, though it shouldn't take anywhere near as long as you've indicated.

Only thing I can really suggest is make sure the DLC is installed, that you're playing on 7.50 and just keep trying. Perhaps test it on a fresh save.

I will say that all the times it triggered for me was when I was away from the highway. When I was testing, it triggered in the following systems for me: Tharka's Cascade XV, Ore Belt, Antigone Memorial and Thuruk's Demise III.

Edit: If it's still not triggering for you, then I'd submit a ticket in the technical support forum and see what the devs say about your situation.
