How many Sectors are there?
Im at 279 and cant find any more.

It's not just a matter of your ships having visited all of them. You personally must go to every sector in the universe map. Also compare your universe map with Rougey's and see if you're missing any sectors.

i cant remember the exact number, but its about 300

have you unlocked and visited all the HSAP sectors, including the 2 that links to them?

also, you have to personally travel to each one, if you bought any sector info, you might known the sector, but it not count until you visit it

i pasted in paint my universe and counted them.
i was 1 off
And reviseted every sector until i got it
