Boarding mission troubles, can not abort

Hello dwellers,

I have to apologize beforehand if this issue was already discussed somewhere else, but i could not find anything of sorts. My issue is with boarding. I've failed one boarding and went to get more marines, and the target went deep into sector, so deep, it will not fit in the screen anymore. I don't think i can reach it, and even if i can, that would be a waste of time. The issue is with the mission that is stuck and can not be aborted. An abort for boarding ops has been asked for before but no progress so far.

Probably a good idea to create a thread in the Tech Support forum and provide the info requested in the sticky at the top of the forum, at the very least a savegame with this happening. This is definitely abnormal behavior. Assuming of course that your game is not modified.

Thank you for your swift replies. I have no mods on in this play-through. I will follow you suggestion and post this with screenshot and save file on technical. SO far i have at least two such way bugged missions. Also when i followed the target, i've met some faction ships far beyond border and occasional xenon. If this is not intentional than i presume there are a lot of bugged vessels and they may be causing some fps issues overall.

So as per the title, I started a boarding operation at a "Destroy the Turrets" stage. I never got beyond it because my fleet basically scuttled to 2% before I could get all the turrets destroyed.

"Disable" does not do what it says on the tin!

So I need to cancel the op. However, when I go to missions, the option to cancel is greyed out?

It's fairly simple to replicate btw. Start boarding mission... instantly attempt to cancel and it won't let you.
