I think we should entertain this idea under one condition - if it will be build or under construction, next administration should modify the design.
I propose to replace one leg with steel beams (for structural integrity) and transparent glass.

That way the Arch would looks like giant upside-down L.

We would have worlds first ever Loser Arch - truly a monument for generations to remember - plus with the bit of luck it could be tourist atraction on pair with Leaning Tower of Pisa to recoup some expenses on this project

A US judge has dismissed a case against the publisher of the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) over a story about ties the US president had to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump sued the American newspaper and its owners including Rupert Murdoch in a Florida federal court last summer, asking for at least $10bn (£7.4bn) in damages.

US District Judge Darrin Gayles said Trump came "nowhere close" to showing the WSJ acted with actual malice towards him, which is the threshold for defamation cases in the US.

The case was dismissed without prejudice, though Trump will be allowed to file a new, amended lawsuit. He has until 27 April to do so.

Look forward to hearing more of his frivolous intimidation/bullying lawsuits being thrown out. He has a history of tying people up in court for years, so assume they will file another load of garbage (else they'd have provided evidence already).

The thing is, most Americans will not see it or even hear about it, if they do, they will not understand it or be even interested in it.

It's been an interesting day in the life of Donald J. Trump. It started out with him attacking and trying to start a fight with the pope, I have to say if there is one person on the planet you don't want to start a fight with is the pope especially when you rely on the religious sector of your society to stay in power. Anyway the pope didn't bite he just said, I'm not scared of you.

Then Trump goes and post a picture portraying himself as Jesus Christ not happy with attacking the pope he has to go and make himself out to being the messiah, if you never heard this really did not go down too well with the religious folks it got so bad the picture was finally deleted.

He did a publicity stunt with a doordash delivering a McDonald's to the Whitehouse with him receiving the delivery. He asked the female delivery you voted for me expecting her to reply yes instead she quietly said maybe in other words hell no. Of course the press were all in attendance to witness all of this, and he took some questions from them. He was asked about the Jesus picture which he said wasn't Jesus in it, he was a doctor healing someone and that he had healed countless people already and that there was a red cross (come back to this) doctor beside him to verify him as a doctor but if he was meant to be a doctor why was he healing the guy with magic and why was he dressed like Jesus and not a doctor. The questions went on someone asked about the blockade of the straits and if any other country was involved, which he said there were plenty of course the follow-up question was who were those countries which got the reply we don't need any other countries we can do it ourselves, meaning there are no other countries involved. He has also went on to say Iran is desperate to make a deal which beggars the question of why did Vance quit talking to them after less than a day.

The whole day has been one massive screw up by Trump. That red cross thing, I'm going to take a guess that International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has been in touch with the Whitehouse demanding that he no longer associate them with him while threatening to sue them for using their name, they are pretty well known for doing this sort of thing, they don't allow anyone to use their name or symbols without their prior authorization, and they don't give that permission out very often.

The ridiculous AI picture was fascinating for me, in that he actually managed to shake lose some of the few remaining Australian Trump fans.

Being a Christian myself, I'm in amongst the Evangelical networks in Australia, and whilst there aren't a lot of Trump supporters in that group, there are some. Or rather there were. There were a few FB posts from those sorts of people saying things like "Okay, I was with him up until now, but THIS was just not okay."

I'm curious to know how that played in the USA.

So Trump tried another silly stunt and it backfired.

A driver delivered two MacDonalds orders straight to Trump, The woman was not happy being there. or wasn't briefed how badly disturbed Trump was at the time. Lets just say, the video is gaining a bit of traction. Along with that Trump being Jesus photo, which Trump said, he was acting as a doctor. As he was healing people.

Which in itself, shows how far his mind has gone. And how badly, the administration is doing to try and cover up his now rabidly failing health. Another video I seen, where he was at his Florida home, doing another all expense paid golfing trip. We see a very weak Trump, weakly walking to the back of the room, barely able to move a chair, and having great pains in sitting in it. So, he is great pain when he now sits. And this video clearly shows, his health is failing fast. Because this war is getting outr of hand, and he just not coping with it.

There is new evidence about the woman used in as the driver in the above stunt, The republicans have been flying her across the country using her in similar stunts. She does have a sick husband with cancer. But this is utter disgraceful, they are using this elderly grandma for this kind of silly madness. Which is another all time low for the MAGA republicans who know no shame.

the woman is supporting No Tax on Tips, she did a private interview later that day, but even then her story doesn't exactly check out either. So that interview was likely staged and she was told what to say and what answers to answer. So she was either in on the stunt with the republicans, or she had her own leg being pulled by those that use her for this kind of stunt?

Even from a Christian perspective this is ridiculous.

I mean, the key commandments are "Love the Lord your God" and "Love your neighbour as yourself." And the government wipes its ample butt with both of these.

OK, this is a, I don't know what to call this, but a huge catastrophic blunder of security. Trump's ballroom has a bunker and hospital underneath it. When the judge ordered that its construction was to end. Trump admin tried to say that the bunker and hospital was needed for security. So basically, the two needed to coexist, with the ballroom was needed to cover this up.

However, a blundering idiot of a SS person, has exposed many security concerns to the whole world, that is part of the bunker and hospital for You Know who. So the ballroom was to protect the bunker, but due to the unedited transcript / filing to the judge. All that is fully revealed to the whole world.

But there is more, So Trump was saying to their judge, let me construct this bunker and hospital first. So the judge said, OK, do that first, then I might all construction of the ballroom. But then, Trump went to a another courts and said the total opposite. Basically, that the ballroom was to be constructed first, Then the bunker and hospital.

What a total S storm.

So the National Trust new filing is saying, that the SS detail is still been able to continue building the ballroom due to security concerns, and overriding the judge;s original order. (and those security concerns is now fully exposed.)

first off, a secret plan for the supreme court has been exposed. Basically, one or more judges is set / might to retire. Likely Roberts or Alito. Trump has gone on record to say that he ready to nominate two replacements. But considering SCOTUS that it has sided with Trump, then pulled back. Another two picks could very much give Trump even more power. Even the senate is ready to confirm whoever Trump picks.

Considering Trump mental health, he should NOT be allowed to do any picks, until he is removed. I bet that lose Cannon will likely get a seat, even though she is not qualified at all. Making the SCOTUS to another new low, and more corrupt then it already is.

Dumb and Dumber. Trump has wanted to revise the battleship class. So far, its just a design and concept. However, the Trump class, as its going to be called. IS just a silly, and costly worthless thing. First it will fire a lot of missiles, A Surface Launch Cruise Missile - Nuclear or SLCM -N, then for the second battery, a rail gun (needs a lot of power and high maintenance and a very low rate of fire. (not a great range either)
It will have osprey helicopters. and the most dumb aspect of this, it will be a fossil fuel reactor????

As for its size, about 32 metres beam width. 260 metres. Its been said that Trump himself has decided on the length and shape of this ship. (also said, he didn't like any of the current designs in the US navy) From an early concept CGI of it.

But analyse from a naval engineer this ships isn't very efficient, and as the battleship class has not been in service for 80 years, as they got replaced by carriers, which proved to be better.

Yet, also, there is a new next gen cruiser that is waiting for approval. But looks like this ageing concept of a ship is probably been pushed through. So more expense for the US tax payer, and probably more loses if one sinks.
