The House passed a simple, clean, continuing resolution (CR) and sent it to the Senate. Senate Democrats are refusing to pass the bill. Thus, the government is shut down. As a result, social programs such as food stamps have run out of money.

Money is not the issue. In fact a judge has already said the Trump administration must use the funds available to continue paying SNAP. The issue is willingness. It is highly likely, that instead of following the judges order, the Trump administration will appeal the decision in an attempt not to pay out any benefits.

It turns out I was wrong. Instead of fighting this in court, the Trump administration said that it will simply ignore the ruling that forces them to pay out SNAP benefits. In hindsight I should have seen this coming.

So, yes, the Trump regime aren't going to pay, even though some sources say they will. I guess we see how long things last before chaos hits the streets, and Trump declares martial law. With his Gestapo ready, Things will only get more ugly.

A very sad day in American History, That the so called richest country in the world sunks to an all time low.

I really shake my head. And the SC are 100% to blame for this fiasco.

It was looking like Cuomo was going to win the NY Governorship, along came Trump with an endorsement and bang Mamdani wins, seriously Trumps endorsement is a political kiss of death, and I would be upset if he ever gave me an endorsement, not like he would thankfully.

Trump is in full scale panic mode. posted a lot of meltdown posts. And looks like the dems did well as well. So that should weaken Trump a little.

So it seems, that the GOP are now turning on each other.

Zohran Mamdani's victory speech really was what I needed in these dark times. Glance of hope. :)

Well, that didn't take long, Trump and co are crying voter fraid, and will look into it. They clearly aren't taking the news well. And Trump might be good on his word by sending less money to NYC. He threatened if Zohran Mamdani won, that NYC will only get the bare minimum of spending.

So expect Trump and co to challenge all the votes. And Trump declaring war on NYC as well.

The American Army in Germany recommands to its soldiers to get food from German food banks, as the US government is unwilling to feed its own soldiars stationed abroad.

A text on their website read (till it was removed):
U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria wrote:Shutdown Guidance

Running list of German support organizations for your kit bags

Tafel Deutschland: The umbrella organization distributes food to people in poverty through its more than 970 local food banks. You can find your nearest food bank on their website. https://www.tafel.de/

Foodsharing e.V.: A nationwide volunteer movement that shares surplus food. The organization is also a contact point for donations and support. https://foodsharing.de/

Essen für Alle (Food for everyone): A non-profit association that volunteers in food rescue and distribution and sees itself as a point of contact for food aid. https://www.essen-fuer-alle.org/
Further source about the note (in German): https://de.euronews.com/2025/11/05/shut ... p-ramstein

Less reliable source which basically says the same (in English): https://www.gamereactor.eu/united-state ... n-1629253/

As a German I'll say I do not want any American soldiers to have to go hungry and nobody should have to starve while in Germany, so if you ask me they are more than welcome to go get food from local food banks, but this is still pretty dumb. Get a grip America.

As a short-term solution that might work and I'd say they are welcome, nobody should starve. But holy moly this is embarassing USA - what is happening to "thanks for your service" and all that jazz?

Trump is a complete and utter nutjob. So, another war that he planning on doing is against!!!!

Mexico!!!!!???

Seems, its under the pretence of going after drug cartels.

https://www.the-independent.com/news/wo ... 57527.html

So, this is what 3 / 4 wars US troops will in involved in? Seriously, this has to stop. I guess he just hit the panic button due to the results, then again, he made it clear in one new interview, that he wants to cheat in the midterms. And may likely force this enablers to go along with his plans.

One other small detail, The final reports of the classified docs case is still to be unsealed, as that Bitch Cannon, basically has been holding on to it. But a filing to the 11th court of appeals, has set things in motion, and has smacked her down. Giving her 60 days to release the documents, otherwise they will step in.

We all know she wants to be a SC judge, and curry favour with Trump. But if this final report and other documents in the volume 2 of the docs case gets released, it maybe explosive. Otherwise why try and hide it after all this time?

We Americans like The Troops as an ideal. The ideal of The Troops is vital to our national mythology, our image of ourselves as a nation-scale World's Toughest Tough Guy. Americans indulge this fantasy with easy, performative patriotism: Yellow ribbon stickers for their cars, waving a little flag on the Fourth of July, "Thank you for your service."

But we dislike the real The Troops. They cost money to train and maintain and pay, they somehow lose wars even when we assure ourselves we're invincible, they come home dead or hurt or broken. Worst of all are the veterans, who fought — past tense — but are no longer actively empowering the collective tough guy fantasy. And most of them have the temerity to be damaged in some way. They're expensive, they're depressing, and they're an ugly reminder of the cost of war, just by existing. The real The Troops ruin the fantasy. They are a buzzkill.

You got to give Trump consistency, He just been rushed away from DC to Miami,  Something about some sort of economic plan, (But probably empty papers)

So, he clearly didn't take the news of the GOP defeat very well. I guess, his handlers thought he should be rushed away before he has another stroke.

Trump isn't leading, he just been a coward and a traitor as this point.

Edit

And another very likely loss for Trump, the SC may likely overturn Trump's tariffs. Even his MAGA faithful seems very unconvinced with using tariffs on other countries. Which if they do overturn. Trump's admin may likely have to repay all that money. And Trump will likely scream and threaten them. I expect a full scale meltdown if Trump loses here.

Seems Trump had a breakfast meeting with some FOP senators, and one leaked what was said.

Trump wants to get rid of the filibuster rule. then he can pass any bills that he wants. Thus, keeping the democrats out of office. And giving him unlimited power, and able to run for a third term (he won't last that long I dont think)

So, Trump wants the crown, and isn't doesn't intend to leave. He will continue to grow more desperate as time passes.

He is currently crying about losing NY, blaming it on either communist or common sense, Yeah both of them are pretty similar so it is pretty easy to mix them up. He has also mentioned something about socialism, I'm pretty sure he has absolutely no idea what socialism actually is, as he seems to think that communism and socialism are basically the same things, which is totally false, they are two totally different things, not just that Socialism is not on the right or left scale of politics as anyone can believe in socialism, even fascists like Trump. Just don't tell him Scotland, a country he goes on about being great, is pretty much a socialist country.

Also, regarding the demolition company responsible for destroying the east wing. Have pretty much blacklisted themselves. The parent company was flooded with bad reviews, they pulled all their websites down. (I mean, what did they expect?

the supporters of fascism had failed to jail a Subway sandwich
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/06/us/p ... rdict.html
Sean C. Dunn, the man who pitched a sandwich at the chest of a federal agent in an unintentionally viral act of opposition to President Trump's law enforcement policies in Washington, was acquitted on Thursday after a jury found him not guilty of misdemeanor assault.
...
The jury determined that the launching of the 12-inch deli sandwich from what the government described as “point-blank range” was not an attempt to cause bodily injury, preventing a conviction.
...
Earlier in the trial, Ms. Shroff remarked to Judge Nichols that with the government shut down and most of the Justice Department working without pay, both sides were likely sparring in court without salaries.

But the hurling of a sandwich that can sell for less than $10 quickly snowballed into a case with significant costs to the public, including a full-scale armed raid, a failed effort in front of a grand jury and a multiday trial that concluded with no conviction.
...
After the verdict was delivered, Ms. Shroff repeated to reporters what she had argued over the course of the trial: that the case tested the limits of dissent, which the president has sought to stamp out through the mass law enforcement deployment in Washington.

“In some dissent we’re together, and in some dissent we stand alone,” she said. “But we really want to thank the jury for having sent back an affirmation that dissent is what is not just tolerated. It is legal, it is welcome.”

Attacking politicians with food is an important tool of the democractic process. It is even needed most if facists and totalitarians attempt to take the world back to the dark ages.

Last night, Trump made an admission,

"I don't want to hear about affordability, because right now we have so much less. If you look at energy, we are close to $2 a gallon gasoline"

I checked, gasoline prices are near $3

Trump is clueless, and delusional. But yeah, he doesn't care.

3 is close to 2. Closer than the other number that Trump loves: trillions.
(I know there could be 50%, but percentages are math ...)

It does also allow the politician to remark that the attacker cannot be starving, if there is enough food to cast away.
