Is it possible to create a trading log like the mod in X3?

If not familiar, it would create a webpage of every trade for you and a ton of great stats. I think the PDF is still in archive.org somewhere, I can get the mod if needed. Basically does the game allow a mod to create a log of transactions to the point where they could create usable stats? Today something like that could be done in real time on a second monitor to give you general stats as you played.
