Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
In other news,
But as a corrupt biased judge, she is tainted whichever way she rules.
I don't know what she will do there? will she want a quick trial to help Trump? or will she side with the prosecutors for more time? seriously, this just seems more likely they are trying to push the trial out of people's minds? But will this help Trump's case against him or not? and again, if she is in bed with Trump, then wouldn't it be more obvious and logical for her to reject this filing? In a filing with Florida District Judge Aileen Cannon, prosecutors said they still need to trawl through evidence concerning the second suspected attempted assassination of Trump in two months.
Prosecutors asked Cannon to designate Routh’s case as “complex,” to give them more time to sift through the evidence.
“Over the past two weeks, the United States has interviewed hundreds of witnesses,” prosecutors said in the filing. “It has also executed 13 search warrants in Florida, Hawaii, and North Carolina, and seized hundreds of items of evidence, including multiple electronic devices.”
But as a corrupt biased judge, she is tainted whichever way she rules.

Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
The POS must be reeling in his boots, especailly if the evidence is probably so damning. Nice one Judge.Judge Tanya Chutkan on Thursday denied former President Donald Trump's request to delay until after the election the unsealing of court records and exhibits in the 2020 election interference case and said the court would release evidence submitted by the government on Friday.
Also, Trump never learns, as he tried to silence Stormy Daniels again with money. Now she didn't see a huge amount on the stand. But Trump really must be desperate to keep her silence or buy her silence for something that he claimed as nothing happened.

The Arzona AG is determining whether or not to charge felon spice with making death threats towards Liz Cheney. This is about his comments he recently made about her wherein he stated she should have "Rifles in her face".

He can't do anything about Georgia and New York state prosecutions. Well... legally, but we all know republicans pick and choose when laws apply to them.

Everything will get brushed under the carpet, he is now untouchable. All because the courts couldn't hold him accountable, or too afraid too. Things have taken a dark path this day.

Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
I don't expect any further prosecutions for Trump for things he has done prior to now. In a sense, he went on trial, and the American people voted for him despite everything publicly known. Kinda takes the winds out of the sails of prosecutions for past misdeeds.
But time will tell, Trump may decide to take further actions after this point which will test the limits of whether he is truly above the law or not.

Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
In Trump's eyes, he will be exonerate of all wrong doing. No court will dare touch him now. Cannon will become a supreme, and those supremes who are Trump's enemies will probably get removed or a reshuffle. Classified documents will be stolen. and Trump will be made an emperor. All those that tried to stand up against him will be in his sights. Biden, Harris, Those in the FBI, Cheney. It will be a long list. His revenge will be bitter cold.Falcrack wrote: ↑Thu, 7. And lets not forget that those corrupt supremes made this possible. So yes, The law won't be able to touch him and he will be far above it. Another Hitler in the making. And this was what he wanted.
He will push things, but as we seen, he is untouchable, once he gets in, the house republicans will grant him absolute power.

Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
Trumps sentencing in NY has been delayed till after he leaves the Whitehouse, I would say that is not good news for him as it tells us he was not just going to get a fine, because if it was why not just fine him now and get it done and over with, so it is looking more like he was either going to have community service or a jail sentence, I'm leaning more to the latter, but I suppose we will find out in four and a bit years time.

And between now and then he'll send his secret police to disappear the judge, prosecutor, court clerk, bailiff, witnesses, jurors, and anyone else involved.

Re: Trump - Criminal Prosecution
So, Judge Merchan will sentence Trump before he becomes president. but signels there will be no jail time.
I wonder what the penalty will be then? a fine? don't make me laugh. Just another slap on the wrist, with Trump getting away with things.
There is some good news, the appeal court has uphold E Carroll case (5 mill case) the second one is still in the works I think. I no idea if the woman will be getting any money still. Trump I doubt will pay it. He will likely still try and wiggle out of paying her anything.
Edit
What is going to be interesting, is if how many countries refuse him entry with these two verdicts around his neck? Children probably won't be allowed near him? even those they are state crimes, but, it's going to be an issue. And he won't be able to pardon himself, not with the Hush money one. I think its going to make for some annoying times for Trump.

I'm guessing that most countries will give him diplomatic immunity as head of State. Then there is Trump's distain for 'shithole' countries, which in his book, will probably include every country that refuses him entry.matthewfarmery wrote: ↑Sat, 4. Why is he so desperate to postpone his sentencing? He would be better to just get it over and done with.
