So I've been playing the Terran Defender start and I've got to the part where I need to talk to a teladi for information and he wants me to kill some smuggler. Well I killed the smuggler and then it asks me to scan ships to find if they are pirates. Some are pirates and others aren't but it doesn't seem to advance the plot. I'm wondering here if I'm doing anything wrong or have I encountered a bug?
I just don't want to sit here forever scanning ships when I could either abandon the plot or go back a few saves (or restart). Have I found bug or am I missing something obvious?
If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
Edit: It seems I'm being impatient and I hadn't blown up enough ships. I have now and I'm going to see what this *totally trust worthy* teladi has to say.
