X-55/56 HOTAS and Logitech Flight Panel interactable control map PDFs

Post by Artfact »

Hey all, something for X-55/56 and Logitech flight Control Panel users:
having a score of flight sims and a slew of different controls for different games and specific ships/aircraft, I thought it useful to have an fillable PDF to keep track of all these control mappings. So here's the result:

An interactable PDF for the X-56 HOTAS and one for the X-56+Flight Panel combo.:)
Hope someone else has a use for this!
If there's oversights or feedback on how to make it more user friendly or practical I'm open for ideas.

I recommend using the free PDF Fill software to have more control over your input text.

You're welcome.^^
I uploaded V1.11 of both PDFs.
For the X56 only that meant some better textbox positioning and a switch to single page instead of spread pages.
For the X56+flight Panel that meant text box positioning and a correction in the order of the Flight Panel engine start dial.

I'm thinking of lowering the pages of both versions to help performance in PDF reader/editors a bit.
The 30 pages were based on some flight sims having a large roster of vehicles, but I guess people could keep multiple PDFs for different games/vehicles.

Any thoughts or feedback on it are welcome.

Exactly a year after updating my previous control mapping form, here is a new version, 1.2.
I have reduced the number of forms to 3 sets, one for each X55/56 mode. This will greatly file increase performance.
Most notably, I have added a third page to every set for the Logitech Throttle Quadrant which I recently got.

Enjoy!

Updated the new version with the Throttle Quadrant to include the 3 buttons that are activated by pressing the throttles all the way down.
Version is now 1.21.

Alright, it's been a long while since I uploaded a new version, but I have been steadily adding to this as my needs and arsenal of peripheral hardware grew.

So today I present version 1.7, additions (besides general tiding of layout and usability) include:
- A switch to a single collection, that is no multi vehicles/modes per PDF file. To save file space and performance as the roster of hardware increased.
- A second page of Logitec Throttle Quadrant for those that operate more than one for multi-prop aircraft, for example.
- The Thrustmaster TCA Yoke
- The Thrustmaster TCA Flight Rudder Pedals
- Two Thrustmaster Cougar MFD panels
- Finally a Keyboard section, based on my Steelseries Apex with its 28 addition function keys, but you can still use the F and numerical and numpad buttons provided.

This makes the PDF file nearly 9Mb is size and will undoubtable include a bunch of things people don't use.
So, I will work toward splitting up the file, giving each peripheral its own file so you can pick and choose which ones to download. I can't say when this will be done, but hopefully not as long as the gap between these previous versions.
