For most of my time playing Wordle, my win rate was 99%. Then there were a few bad days in a short period of time where my win rate sadly went to 98%. I'm trying to get it back up to 99%. I currently have 985 game played, and won 970 games. If I win the next 15 games, I will have 985 wins with 1000 games. Exactly enough to get 98.5%, which should round up to 99%

A few days ago I was on the last guess, with the last letters of EAST. My available remaining options were LEAST, YEAST, and BEAST. So I looked up a list of previously used Wordle answers, and was able to eliminate YEAST and BEAST due to prior usage, so I was able to get LEAST as the answer.

If that's cheating, well so be it! I wasn't about to risk going deeper into the hole based on a random guess with a 33% chance.

Although luck will always play a part, especially in hard mode, the more accomplished players are going to average a better result than the less able ones.

I readily acknowledge I'm not in the upper echelons of Wordle, but I enjoy it all the same. How you play is up to you, and if looking up previously used words is part of your game, then no one can argue with that. There are no league tables or prizes!

I've had 17 failures and it's actually 98.6 win % to one decimal place. I only need to do another 2265 odd without failing to get back to 100% (that's 99.51% rounded up!)
