Seized russian tankers oil can now be sold. There have been millions of barrels worth of oil seized so far. It might be useful at these times. Privateers? EU uses about 10.65 million barrels per day.

The reality is seizing a boat to uphold laws isn't cheap. You (the country seizing) are responsible for skeleton crew pay, maintaining the boat safely, harboring, storing the cargo (if removed), offloading the cargo and mooring fees. It's *really* expensive costing tens to hundreds of thousands per day - and take many months or even years to resolve in the event the shadow company washes it's hands of it by abandoning it or the court battles take a long time to resolve.

This means that there's a financial *dis*incentive to actually uphold rules/regulations/laws. You'd rather the sanction busting or falling apart vessel transits to someone else's water for action rather than uphold rules/laws yourself.

So, it could be abused, but at the same time - it may actually encourage enforcement. More relaxed as of course being EU/UK I believe things are more likely done correctly. However, the flip side is the time the UK seized an oil tanker bound for Syria, contrary to EU sanctions, sailing in EU water - and the UK correctly seized it.

Iran, then, seized UK tankers for "enterting the exit lane" (false), "turning off GPS" (false) and other BS. The reason wasn't legitimate, it was a bargaining chip.

But if you're carrying oil against sanctions, then there's not much disincentive to try and break sanctions if it's only the ship that's held. Flogging on the cargo sounds like a serious disincentive to try and break sanctions as you've already paid for it... so the risk of losing it? Wait and see how it plays out to see if it's abused by responsible member nations. I doubt it will be.

This was confirmed in the six part documentary Pirates of the Caribbean. On July 25, Ukrainian drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse in Yekaterinburg. Reports indicated that drones struck warehouse grounds on Perspektivnaya Street, setting fire to vehicles in the parking lot.

US says that Ukraine won't be getting the right to manufacture Patriot missiles and may reduce Starlink. The US is trying to increase a shortage in interceptor missiles to cripple Ukraine. Helping russia again as usual.

The program represents one of the most ambitious missile defence initiatives undertaken in Europe since the end of the Cold War, and follows the announcement at a meeting of European “Coalition of the Willing” nations in Paris of the establishment of a new Anti-Ballistic Coalition. The purpose of this coalition is to develop an affordable missile defence architecture capable of countering increasingly advanced ballistic missile threats.

EU is also limiting the 2 ghz band that starlink wants to use for his satellites. I'm not sure if the 1/3 1/3 1/3 rule is being implemented. 1/3 EU providers only 1/3 open to other bidders 1/3 reserved for the government services.
