Required Information in all Technical Support Requests

Please ensure that you provide the following information for all questions posted in this Technical Support forum.
  • Version and language (e.g. 8.00 Hotfix 3, English, etc.).
  • Whether or not your game is modified using any third party scripts or mods (see note below).
  • The game start you originally selected for the game in which the problem occurred.
  • Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time.
  • Any possibly relevant changes you have made to your game, system, or software before the issue occurred.
  • Where appropriate, additional symptoms, error messages, links to saves, screenshots and crash dump files (see this Wiki entry).
  • Your system specifications in the form of a DxDiag report and vulkaninfo (see this Wiki entry).
Failure to provide all this information will make it pretty much impossible for people to help you and may mean that it takes longer for your problem to be identified and hopefully solved. So please don't waste your own time and everyone else's by just posting something like "My game freezes. Help!!!".

If you are supplying information that will not conveniently fit into posts in this forum (approx 70,000 character limit per post), in the worst case you can split long text files across 2 consecutive posts, or ideally you can upload the data to a reputable public fileshare site (a few examples are Google Drive, DropBox or PasteBin, etc) but please don't use sites that spam advertising or require registration for downloads. Please use in your post the open public sharing link to your file(s) that will not require any account or registration for others to download.

Note: Support for third party modifications must be provided by the authors of those modifications, and any requests for such support should be posted in the appropriate thread in the Scripts and Modding forum.

Teladi Trade Guild mission - unable to deliver ship

There were 4 parts to the overall mission, the 4th and final part is to deliver a Vulture Vanguard to an area marked on the map (not to a station.)
I've purchased the ship, outfitted it per spec and have flown it to the designated location in space where I and the Teladi Captain sit twiddling our respective appendages.

I've only read that others were having similar issues because they didn't modify the ship as per specification, but the mission has no such modification stipulation, other than making a point of stating that all equipment slots must be filled which they are.

Moved to correct forum from X Rebirth.

Did you check the vertical dimension to ensure you are in the sphere? Are you in or piloting the donor ship and, if so, have you tried not being (or vice versa maybe)?

I think you cannot hand over ships that you are currently in, even if not piloting them. Teleport (or space walk) off the ship and hopefully it will prompt for a transfer.

Tried it both ways and then some. Stupid Teladi (Lizard brains, what else would I expect?) dragged it's claws getting there so I went to it in my hotrod, jumped in, activated speed drive and then when I got to the location I jumped out and went back to my own ship. No completion, so I went back and drove it around a little thinking it was just slow.

After a while, I landed on the nearby base thinking it may be bugged (I mean, who drops a ship off in outer space when there's a perfectly good base only a few km away?) Still no completion, drove it back to the center of the 3D sphere and played 99 beers with my Teladi Captain for a few. Finally saved the game in a separate file and aborted the mission right after - kept the ship so it wasn't a total loss.

Noone of us is able to but there are a lot of different and thrustworthy filehosters which you can use, for example Google Drive. Just link the file here :)

Sorry - I would have, but my Dropbox is over capacity so I had to dig around for an old password so I could resurrect my Google Drive account.
