X3 AP Swarm missiles

Hello everyone,
In my game the swarm missiles keep firing when i only shot 1 missile and it keeps on firing unless i destroy my ship.
Is there a way to remove swarm missiles because it makes the game really hard to play.

What ship are you flying? Was this by any chance a ship you captured/boarded? What percentage is the missile fire probability set to?
