I am not sure if the planned 2 week interval will be feasible for in the long run. Looking back, there were several attempts for info on regular basis but you always went back to silent mode. I hope you get the audience to keep going this time around.
Information on regular basis is a good idea and something we‘ve been asking for forever. I’m just not too sure about the 2 week interval. I remember Bernd saying the we will hear about ventures a few weeks after 4.0 and it’s now 2 month and we didn’t hear anything about it yet.
I was and still am a big fan/proponent of ventures, and look forward to hearing about them.... but I think the vast majority of people want to know when Xenon will be fixed, when mining will get fixed, and if there are plans to change how player stations operate with each other/supply each other.

At some times there will be more to tell and at other times less. This two-week interval is certainly not set in stone, just as the thirty-minute duration of the episodes is not.
PS: Thematically, you've already hit the bullseye for the first real episode

Can add a section in the Podcast how you define „soon“? Last time you said soon, was 2 month ago

I'm looking forward to a podcast!

More importantly would be the answer to the question how they intend to repair the dmg that already has been done due to the screw up and bring back Xenons in existing saves.
In episode 1 of the Inside Egosoft Podcast, we take a first detailed look at the new and improved online element of X4: Foundations. What lies behind the "Multiverse Team Seasons" title, and how will X4 players experience it? Greg discusses this topic with Egosoft founder, CEO and lead game designer, Bernd Lehahn. Note that although we only mention Steam in the episode, the Multiverse Team Seasons will of course also be available to GOG users.
Very well done, good quality and well presented with lots of info. The new feature sounds a lot more indepth than I thought it would be, im surprised it will have a story and new ships. Im also glad to hear bernd clarify that 'what x is' because honestly the move towards multiplayer worries me, I approach and experience games in a certain way and even something as simple as the perceived presence of other players makes them less authentic and enjoyable for me.
Anyway, good luck with it and looking forward to the other changes in 4.10, such as graphical and engine changes? Hopefully more info in the next one.
There is one question left though. How does it work with different DLC compilations? Can a team send a Split or Terran fleet to another player without that DLC?

The player's savegame will likely define this. A series of "checks" will give you games sorted by DLC.

When you send a Terran or Split ship into the Multiverse, only players that own the corresponding expansion can receive it. Note that you're not selecting a person that you send your ship to, but instead you're sending it into the Multiverse (aka our server ).

Btw: @Greg I like your style. Very well done. And I especially like your calm voice. A little bit more and we reach ASMR levels. (I would like that )
Much appreciated, thank you Not so sure about the ASMR idea though
I am super excited about this new addition.
My only concern coming from a complete burnout on highly competitive gameplay is wondering how they are going to balance the coalitions. I’m hoping the emphasis is more on cooperation then competition, but I look forward to seeing how this develops.
