I know the ship blue print is available in the HQ. But I seriously lack funding to build it. The available map at the moment is very small with only 9 sectors and stations are situated sparsely. Its impossible to do the missions available at the moment, even easy delivery missions have a countdown time of 4-5 mins which makes them impossible to complete. So I have no way of earning more income.

However, I found two abandoned TS ships, but theres no ship yard to sell them and get some credits. No fight missions are available either.

Am I missing something here?

By the way, i found 9 sectors so far. Did some SETA explorations in the edges of available sectors and couldn't find any more gates. Is this all sectors available at this point of the game before progressing the story? or have I missed something?

Your HQ should have sufficient resources to build a Scorpion from the get-go, with only two exceptions: Energy Cells and Credits.

The credits you can get swiftly by selling the equipment of those abandoned trade ships. The Energy Cells can be bought from the two Solar Plants in the northwest Void sector.

After that you should be good to go. Same goes for the BoFu factory btw.
