Seems to work fine yes. Something like a global news system should really be in the base game. This will suffice for the time being.

Couldn't agree with you more and I don't understand why Egosoft did not include an Event Driven News service since News is a VERY Important part of the simulation. Cyberpunk 2077 has multiple News outlets integrated using television based on events, seems like X4 should have one as well.

I was hoping for the mod that would add bbs system as in X3 Reunion or X tended Terran conflict since the game was released. Event driven news is a good mod since it's the only one, but I was hoping for some more...x3 like, with articles about half split-half paranid child :lol: , maybe galnet lotteries and so on...
