There are some other ships in the X universe that have striking similarities to other franchises ships, such as the Argon Titan from X2 and Starship Troopers

Whether taking inspiration from/copying other franchises designs is a good thing is everyones own opinion.

You forgot X4 Falcon - my favorite ship by the look, which I can't stand flying because horrible teladi fighter cokpits - literaly obscure 40% of the screen.

X2 one had funny/toy looking cokpit. X1 and X4 are more serious and cylo n looking to me.

Ships design in x2 left lot questions, like why not create own cockpits for ts, and why paranid and boron ships uses same cockpit model, same about teladi and argon.
