Odd behavior of miners if player in the same sector

Hi, community.

I faced odd miners behavior if player is in the same sector. AFAIR it is named "in-sector mining". Miners stuck in state
"Waiting for drones".

If player isn't in the same sectors with miners - miners work well. They don't actually operate with drones (at least drones aren't displayed on map). But when player come to the same sector with miners - they immidiately start drones and stick in state "waiting for drones". Drones do nothing in this time.

Even if remove miner's assignment and call command "recall subordinates" - drones don't dock to the miner.

Is it a bug?

well, i would say its a bug but considering the devs actually did it on purpose, then im not sure

Its a known bug. They weren't able to fix it in 2.6 but have a fix already in for 3.0. It required some type of major change so they couldn't back port it.

This kind of problem exists since Rebirth. Unfortunately the games doesn't want to you to sit in one sector forever. I experienced this and other issues when I just stay in a sector for a longer time period. If I move out of sector it starts working again... very unfortunate.
