Other than filling with Teladi and sending in for a solo attack against a K, any actual other good use for this ship?

Dock it to the back of an oddy or carrier, You now have a durable turret battery.

It has a higher than average unit capacity which means you can fill it with defence drones if you are so inclined.

I have done that with Minotaurs. I think they are better suited for it.

True, as slow as it is it would make a good stationary drone platform. Problem is how do you get it to stay in one place.

What is the point of any ship other than the Nemesis and Gorgon? Pretty much just to have them rather than try to use them seriously...

Osprey is pretty much all about defence drones when in sector. It also is pretty durable so works reasonably out of sector when mixed with L and XL ships. Like all frigates it has 100 missile capacity so is pretty good for spamming missiles defensively, although not a Gorgon with regard to that.

It will not be winning a min-max award, but it is still a competent fight ship for bombing operations and such.
