Getting your ship back from storage??

How can i get my ship out of the docking bay storage? another ship lands and yours is lowered into the storage hold but no way of getting it to come back out seems to be evident.. without an A.I pilot how can i get it back again?

Press Shift + D.

You'll get a menu where you can select to bring your ship back up. (the button on the bottom)
What also works is just double clicking on your ship in that menu. You'll be teleported to it while it's still stored away and can just clip out through the station.

hmmm.... I wonder what happens if you teleport to your ship in storage and then hit Ctrl+D to stand up and leave your ship?

A flash of the screen and you are back to looking at your lame desktop background most likely
