Move station parts?

Can I move the basic dock area Originally build without removing the rest of the station?

I just want to swap the Basic dock with the small container storage, to put the small dock more into the center of the station and hopefully reduce the amount of traffic smashing into the larger PHQ hull.

I tried to remove the Dock and it wanted to remove the station tree, so I removed the small container storage and then just moved the small dock with the mouse and it seemed to work.

Doing this fired the constructor vessel and reset to construction % of the parts that were allready in construction back to 0% and stole all the Hullparts I had allready spent on them.

yes you can move every part. but one thing i noticed the station will start taking the module apart even without a builder around. but wont building it back up without a builder. had that happen when i upgraded for a 1M6S to a 3M6S dock and my whole station went into shock. and while moving entire sections is totally possible it takes an age to do.

Which means I'll have to wait a day till I have the money to finish the construction thats allready there.
