locked doors?

sry if it was already mentioned and I missed it but it seems transporting room doors only allow 2 levels to connect? i mean, if you dock on a station both the ship and station doors are working but if you are docking on a ship that is docked on a station only the capital and the station doors are working but the m ship doors dont. im not sure if its just me got bugged or it works like this for everybody? no reload or teleporting away or anything helps. also on big stations where transport room goes to the shops, on arrival the controls freeze. the only way i have found to re-enable movement is opening up the map... funny.
