bug: buying ships

when buying a ship sometimes you pay for them the stations don't build them. they don't even show up in ship yards. this happened today's patch.

Is it just that the shipyard doesn’t have enough resources to build the ship? You may need to wait for traders to deliver the needed parts, or assign your own traders to deliver them.

I haven't yet run into this issue but several people are reporting that their ship build orders simply disappear with the money regardless of resources

i had one that was in dock but not being built. i went to another station and try there it took my ic but no ship

i can only buy ships from the first ship dock come too the others just take my money

look at you item property in the map to see the list of all your ships, ships under construction are at the bottom, they just sitting there stuck?

I can add to this, I've had ships stuck building and upgrading. I've also had a ship disappear out of the construction queue forever.

When they are stuck I have a massive list of "Unknown Ship #<number>" in the queue. I've also replenished needed wares at the station from my HQ with no success.

The ship in queue that got deleted happened when I was aboard the Wharf and a LOT of its drones came back in from combat. When they were landing, it ate my ship from the queue.

Hope that helps someone at Egosoft fix it.

Can confirm this, can't get anymore ships in my ongoing game so tried restarting, can't get any ships in my new game. Guess I'm waiting for 1.33 or 1.4.

The problem SEEMS to be a lack of engine parts for me, the station builds a few of it's own ships when I supply it, but never get to mine. So.... my solution is going to be building engine part factories right next to the two wharfs having intense shortages. Fingers crossed.

Until few days ago i had the bug if i order a ship including full crew it would build the ship but it wouldnt have the crew. Then i had to update the ship and pay again for the crew once it was built.
Not sure if it got fixed yet. Since then i always buy the ship with 1 crew, make him to captain and then fill the ship.

Well the stations are now filled with resources, I can even buy a ship and the stations says there's no wait (green). Though once I order it, it sits at position #1 and never moves. None of the other ships in the queue are being built or removed from queue.
