it unlocks research

and you can built stuff to it, storage, factories, use it as a trading post and your base of operations. Other than that, not much. 40 hours in, I haven't seen any more plot missions for it, not even a "to be continued".

It unlocks research and it is a station on a maximum size plot. However, since all NPCs path to the centre of it, they get stuck on the absurdly large rock in the middle, meaning that you need to be out of sector to have it function as a regular station for you.

it feels really disappointing especially with research being so fast and without requirements. doesn't give a sense of accomplishment, but its a first big slot to build without buying the plot for it.

I have yet to find a single manager at all.

As for the PHQ, I agree it needs more to it than what we have already.
