Claimed a ship but cannot board it.

Ok i was flying around and came across a ship just sitting there. The capture tutorial popped up so i did it. I was able to claim this ship but now it will not let me board it. Am I missing something?

Same here. I claimed two ships now which I cannot board. Both say "Docking denied".
One ship was claimed by using marines and one by scanning and repairing it.
I can tell the first ship to dock at a station and can even fly it - but then again it says "Docking denied".

Have you repaired it, check scan mode? then hop out repair and claim...

If your little dude is flying laps leave the system....

Same here, I have two ships that I claimed via the little scan in EVA mini-game and I cannot board the ships. Just get docking denied errors and since I own the ships, they cannot be boarded with Marines. Some kind of acknowledgement would be cool because searching this topic yields no answers, just people saying how to do it, yet it doesn't seem to work, at least not on these abandoned ships that you find in minefields.

The good news is, the ships can be sold to a wharf (magically). So at least it isn't a total loss, of course, if you find a cool ship that you want to actually use, then it's not a good thing.

u have to have a marine, when you click claim he will eva, but you need to leave system so he can get inside faster

You aren't understanding... see this is what I was talking about with the searches... The ship is already claimed so there is no Marine interaction. We own the ships, you cannot board your own ships with Marines. We already did the mini game to claim the ships via EVA, we just cannot board them, we cannot send Pilots to them, we cannot make them dock, the only thing we can do is sell them.

its bugged, no matter how you claim the ship, it wont let you to dock or board. it works perfectly with bought ships, doesnt seem to have a workaround. claim only with marine and you dont need to leave, just get above the ship you wanna claim, get as close as you can, make sure it is right below your airlock where the marine leaves. then claim...

ahhh i see what you mean now, the ships i claimed i sold anyway so far, haven't tried to get in one yet. I did just get the Boron ship last night before i signed off, so will see if i can get inside when I get back on. My bad I misunderstood your post.

+1 really hope this gets fixed, for now i just have marines board then sell the ships for profit.

according to the beta 1.30 patchnotes it is fixed.
"Fixed some player-owned ships not allowing you to dock."
