1.20 FEEDBACK Where are Xenon, Pirates, War, etc? World feels dead.

The game feels dead in the world. People keep talking about this on Discord and it just seems like nothing expands or grows. The Economy slowly maxes out. No wars no pirates there seems to be no combat or economic events to all the sudden start mass production for replacements, etc.

Something seems a bit off here I think the devs need to start collecting save data or run a simulation of the game at 10x for the next few days. Just run it on a dedicated PC and just check it every few hours. You don't even need to leave your starting station.

Honestly Devs your making a Simulation Game here, get some 2070 GTX's with 9900K CPU's and run like 3-5 boxes 24/7.

+1 to the problem. After a couple of days of gameplay the universe just seems to have come to a halt - economy is still running for me, but there have been no hostilities of any kind for as long as I can tell, even in sectors that should be contested like Second Contact Flashpoint or Hatikvah's Choice. Pirate activity appears to be at a standstill, and (admittedly not thorough) investigations into Xenon space have turned up empty.

sorry to disappoint you both but i have Argon forces constantly hammering Xenon defense station while xenon bringing reinforcement (the odd thing i did noticed though is 3 destroyers cant kill that station for few hours of my gameplay and this station hp drops only when i'm around and when the reinforcment comes argon destroyers seem to retreat to safer distance almost got killed due to that but hid behind the destroyer in time)

also while they were hammering this station Xenon built another one out of destroyers range so im feeling the games economy i do have a feeling the galaxy has materials in abundance and very low supply and demand impacts for me at least


although i want to adresss an issue with one mission i took against xenon:
kill 3 ships the difficulty was medium when i took it it changed to very hard and the ship i had to kill were 3 P type xenons

also from the areas i have opened of the map (no spoilers) trust me you don't want xenon to push too hard

There's been plenty of pirates for me, I get harassed by them in almost every sector every time i'm hauling cargo, but some parts of the economy do seem a little static. Not seeing new stations etc popping up just yet, though it's only a couple of days into gameplay. I'm not watching it all the time though as I've been doing a variety of things to pass the time so I can't say with much certainty.

I saw xenons, pirates, even Khaaks... a few, like 1-2 of each one :) They feel more like an UFO, than actual threat :) and I explored most of the universe, this is probably most peaceful universe that I have ever seen. Can't see a reason to building empire, well.. maybe if it will be Sith Empire that gonna declare war on everyone else, then yea.

I was seeing pirates/Khaak/Xenon in populated sectors at the start of my game but that seems to have stopped now only 16 hours or so in.

I went to a xenon sector and only managed to find around 4 ships.

I Interfered with a station and it deployed a ton of defense drones that docked again when I moved away.


Some kind of spawn bug?

35 hours in my game. Xenon have been all but stamped out by the three major powers. No station apart from some defence stations left. Argon, Teladi and Paranid Destroyers roam their sectors. Pirates are a no show and the Kha'ak are MIA.

All the major popwers are peacful towards each other and my economy seems to grind to a halt as there is no drain in ships anymore and the economy is solely focused on expansion and ship building.

I am still intetrested to see what will happen, as it seems at least the Argonb started to put down stations like no tomorrow..

For a note, it was stated that only Kha'ak and Pirates spawn ships in. Everyone else produces them and build stations.

I wish the Xenon would build up ships, have them wait around in one of their systems until built up enough then attack with them as a small fleet, and have another fleet that protects their sectors. Since only ever see their fighters alone. Destroyers on their own. Though there was an I with with Ks as escort in one sector.

Or rarely early on in the game, I did see a formation of a P with a couple of fighters. But I guess if they Argon are harassing them, then might be why their numbers seem so low a lot of the time.

I have noticed that when the game starts you regularly come across criminals and Xenon which your ship recognises and are coloured red. As time goes by this becomes less frequent and eventually stops altogether. After 18 hours of play (less in game time as I've gone back to previous saves reasonably often) I almost never see a Xenon or Pirate anymore. However I think something more than just not spawning is happening. What I do see from time to time is a ship, in blue (purple? I'm colour blind), that tells other ships nearby to drop their cargo. They then respond with "NO" and just go on as if nothing happened. The threatening ship doesn't do anything like attack them either. If I fly nearby to them they will tend to make the same threat, and if I ignore them they do nothing. If I scan them (I have the police licence and scanner) they simply say that I'm breaking the law but don't turn red. If I attack them then often they don't even respond to that, just hanging around and waiting to die. In one instance attacking them got the station to report me as the bad guy. Essentially I suspect that the pirate AI and related logic is glitching. Note that I didn't notice this at all in the first few hours of gameplay. It all only started to become noticeable after the universe simulation had run for a few hours of real time.

Sorry I can't give you more as these observations are all that I have.

Stations got build a lot on my universe after a few hours. But now it seems to have stopped, and hull parts are on sale even at trading stations.

Pirates? Two at game start.
Khaak? One at game start and just now one.
Xenon? 2 destroyer once in a sector.
I just was in a Xenon sector. Argon builder there, seemingly unharassed ny the three Xenon fighter and alone. The Xenon came after me when I enterd, and a bit later 2 P fighting with the builder, maybe because I used him as cover from the fighters, since then he cires for help and shoots missiles.

I have the same problem. No enemies at all. Sometime one small lonely pirate or xenon fighter. It is a well known problem. Some say it is a feature because the enemy factions have their own economy and need to build ships but i thin it is a bug.
Those covered pirates are strange. Some become hostile and fight against you. Some alert the sector security... really really strange. Dont know if it a feature ( covering identity ) or a bug.
I´m waiting for updates. No sense in flying a big carrier without enemies.
