I have like 60,000 cr worth of majaglit and am unwilling to jettison it ( and I dont know how/where to store stuff).
My current map exploring push is solely me trying to find a place to sell it.
Anyone remember from X3 (I do not) or know for x4 wth it's used for so I can offload it?
Also I see a lot of places making hull parts, but I've got 6 in my Elite that I cant unload to save my life....

In X3:AP majaglit was used for jewelry and sold to trading stations.
From Rougey's site..:
https://roguey.co.uk/x3ap/wares/food/id-8/
Majaglit is made from the shell of the Maja snail and is a very precious material used by many races for creating jewellery, and ornamentation. Due to its precious nature it fetches high prices. The few space jewelleries capable of processing Majaglit are famous for high quality artworks.
And I suppose its the same in X4.

If you are talking about the inventory ware (not the trade ware), you can sell those at pretty much any dock, just land and look around for a huge shopping cart sign. It can be a bit of a walk from your landing pad.
Also, inventory wares are stored on your person (not ship cargo), and goes with you if you transfer ships. I don't think theres a limit on how much you can carry.
As for hull parts, shipyards and wharves use those IIRC.

Thanks man, I would have never walked over to the cart, I assumed it would be shown in trade menu.Playbahnosh wrote: ↑Tue, 4. Only trade wares show up in the trade window in the ship menu, the stuff that is stored in your ship's cargo hold. Inventory wares are different, those things are stored on your person and you can sell them to traders on the station. This is also where the minerals and crystals are stored you mine from the shiny nodes on asteroids (look into that if you want some real money)

While you are at it, check the Crafting Bench right next to the trader dude at the station. You can use inventory wares to craft a whole bunch of different things, improvements to your space suit and ships, also stuff you can sell. For example you can get sedatives, bandages and needles and craft First Aid Kits, which you can sell for a lot more than the sum of it's parts.
There is also a Workbench (not the same as the Crafting Bench) somewhere you can use to craft mods for your ships.

Just sold em, glad I came back while I was still there, was wondering when I'd get to use the "crafting for" stuff.
Very cool, many thanks, I didn't know any of that stuff.
